Most of Small Bible Study Groups are held during the day (see ‘Daytime groups’ above). However, we also run an Evening group which is held in The Village called ‘Murdoch Village Christians’.
Although it is primarily for residents of the Murdoch Village, it is possible to be a part of this group if it suits your timetable and/or you would like to experience a more ’international’ flavoured MCU Small group.
We are looking at the same part of the Bible as the Daytime groups.
What we do in the Village
When you get there, these are the sorts of things you’ll find us doing…
- Welcoming you and including you no matter who you are, where you are from or whether you are Christian or not.
- Talking, smiling and laughing.
- Reading a part of the Bible and thinking together about what it says, what it means and what our right response to that part of God’s Word should be.
- Praying - in response to what we’ve read in the Bible, for our friends and families, and for our own needs.
- Singing (optional - you can just listen if you prefer).
- Eating - something…anything! (In Winter there’s soup and bread - Yummy!)
- Leaving - some will need to get back to their studies, others will stay around longer - anything to avoid studying!
