Here’s where you’ll find all the important dates for MCU stuff in one convenient spot.
So get your diary out and start writing…
February

8-11 O-week. MCU Stall on Bush Court
Drop by our stall in between your tours and getting your library card and say g’day to us.
12 Guild O-Week FESTIVAL DAY
It’s always a crazy day with lots of ‘outsiders’ including churches, political groups, activist groups, government organisations, and lots of companies giving away things. Unlike MCU, the vast majority of these people will never be seen again on campus! MCU can get a bit lost in the background noise, so please make the effort to look for our banners, say hello to us at our table, and grab some info.
February (continued…)
13 MCU’s Launch Party 7pm (Contact us for the address)
Everyone gets together for our Launch Party to kick off the MCU year! 1st years get a chance to meet each other as well as the returning students (the ’old-timers’!) of MCU; the returning students get to catch up with each other again after the break; ‘the Village people’ get to meet ’the locals’ and the locals get to meet and welcome those who are new to Australia, Perth and Murdoch. There’ll be a BBQ, Guitar Hero, swimming in the heated pool, music, laughter and lots of fun. Stay as short or as long as you like, just come for some of the evening and say g’day to us - we can’t wait to meet you.
23 The ‘Hangout’
