Bible Study Groups

MCU’s Bible Study Groups are one of the major the ‘hubs’ of MCU. We meet together in Small Groups during the free slots in our timetables.

In our Bible Study Groups you’ll meet people from different faculties, different years (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc), different churches and different nationalities. You’ll meet other students who have different tastes in music, food and TV show’s. Over the years, some have even met the person they eventually married!  But above all, you’ll meet other students who all want to read the Bible with other students.  

Being a part of a Small Group Bible Study on campus is one of the best things to do as a student. Each semester you’ll get to know a number of people really well, and, we pray, you will get to know God better too as you spend time looking at his Word together.

We build our Bible Studies around you, so let us know your timetable and we’ll try to connect you with others who are free when you are. (We’ll let you know the location)

We simply need to know all the times you are free (from lectures, tutes and your part-time job) AND when you would definitely come if we put a Small Group on at one of the times you give us.

We also have a special group for Murdoch Village residents called ‘Murdoch Christian Students’ which meets on Monday nights. You are welcome to attend this group as well as the daytime groups because we look at different parts of the Bible in each group). (Look at the menu above under ‘Village’)

Just contcat Jo or send her an email  { jo(at) mcu (.) org (.) au }  explaining you’d like to join one of the MCU Small Group’s and include something like this:

We’ll get back to you as soon as possible to confirm a time for you.

We start them in Week 2 to give everyone a chance to sort out their Tutorial times, etc.

When we start our Bible Study Groups anyone can join in along the way.

After week 2, lease look at the ‘Daytime Groups’ section in the ‘BIBLE STUDY’ menu above for the current times.
